After your service:
For Lash lifts:
Allow 24 hours before doing the following:
Do not get your lashes wet.
Avoid extreme heat such as spa, sauna, and steam room.
Avoid oils, lotions, creams, shampoos, face washes, makeup remover wipes, or pads on lashes.
Avoid direct sunlight right after your treatment, as this can weaken the lift lotion and fade the tint.
Avoid face washes and oil-based beauty products as this can also cause lashes to drop prematurely.
Because your lashes are still malleable (shape-shifting), a side sleeper or face sleeper may notice that one or both eyes may raise or drop, leaving the lashes misshaped. Sleeping on your back is best. If you do notice this has happened, use a wet spoolie (a weird word I know, but you'll get your own after your appointment) and gently brush them back into place
If in the first 24 hours, you notice any premature drooping in your lashes, please contact me directly to troubleshoot and/or to re-lift your lashes.
Between services:
To maintain the health and longevity of your lashes in general, I highly recommend applying castor oil or a lash serum to encourage growth and maintain moisture:
Castor oil contains Vitamin E, proteins, and Omegas 6 & 9 which are the key components responsible for good hair and skin. It can be found at most stores or bought on amazon.
As for serum, my go-to is Grande Lash MD which can be found at Sephora or, if you'd like I can purchase it directly and have it ready for you at your next appointment. This can also be found on Amazon but please beware that what is being sold may not be the real deal. Try Amazon at your own risk.
If there's a problem...
If you develop swelling, irritation, itchiness, or any other eye-related discomfort contact your Doctor immediately.
If you feel your lashes are too curly or not curly enough. Contact me so we can problem solve, together. There is a small window of time where I can re-process them. Once that 24 hours is up, you will need to wait 6 weeks.
